Setup Outlook 2016

Replace your.name@your.domain with your own email address, in lower-case.

Open the File Tab

Click the [+Add Account] button

Select (o) Manual setup or additional server types

Click the [Next] button

Choose Service:

(o) POP or IMAP

Click the [Next] button

User Information:

Your Name: Your Name
E-mail Address: your.name@your.domain

Server Information:

Account Type: IMAP
Incoming mail server: mail.zootzone.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.zootzone.com

Logon information:

User Name: your.name@your.domain
Password: given password

Ensure that you select:

[x] Remember password

Click the [More Settings ...] button

Select the Outgoing Server tab and check the following options:

[x] My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

(o) Use same settings as my incoming mail server

Open the Advanced tab

Server Port Numbers:

Incoming server (IMAP): 993
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
Outgoing server (SMTP): 465
Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

Ensure that under Test Account Settings, the following is selected:

[x] Automatically test account settings when Next is clicked.

Click the [Next] button

A Test Account Settings window will pop-up.

The tasks tab should show a tick ✔ next to both:

✔ Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP)
✔ Send test e-mail message

Click the [Close] button
