Switch from Outlook to Thunderbird

Compact the PST data files, so that when you import, the deleted files are excluded:

Visit the link below, matching your computer's operating system.
Navigate to the folder named after your preferred language.
en-GB = English, Great Britain
en-US = English, United States
de = German
es-ES = Spanish, Spain
...Open that folder and download the installer, or package.
Mac OS X = Thunderbird 31.8.0.dmg
Windows = Thunderbird Setup 31.8.0.exe
Linux = thunderbird-31.8.0.tar.bz2- 3
If you don't, the import in the next step will fail.

- Ignore the account setup wizard at this point.
